## Sumba is closer than you think

Sumba is exceptionally well connected. The island has two international gateways (Tambolaka TMC and Waingapu WGP) and is just 1 hour by plane from Bali, with daily direct flights operated by Garuda, Citilink, NAM Air and Wings Air.

Bali itself is one of the most connected hubs in Asia. You can fly in non-stop from almost anywhere in the world with Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airways, Emirates, Qantas, Etihad, Cathay Pacific, KLM and many more. From Bali, a short 1-hour hop and you are home in Sumba.

Sumba will soon be connected with direct international flights to Singapore and Australia. Conversations with aviation authorities already include routes such as Sumba ↔ Darwin in just 1 hour 45 minutes , making your home in Sumba a true gateway between Asia and Oceania.

## Connecting to Bali

To reach Sumba, you will first fly into Bali (DPS), where you will connect onward to Tambolaka (TMC). Flights to Tambolaka operate daily on a morning schedule, departing Bali around 9:00 AM. We recommend considering a one-night pre-stay in Bali to ensure a seamless and relaxed connection.

For travelers from the United States and Europe, the most seamless connections to Bali are with Singapore Airlines, Emirates, and Qatar Airways. Singapore Airlines offers non-stop flights from Singapore to Bali, with arrivals at 9:30 AM and 11:05 AM. Qatar Airways operates a non-stop service from Doha, arriving in Bali at 8:15 AM.
